Green Earth Fuel Protection System |
Green Earth Fuel Protection System (Tank/Tote/Drum Mounted) Features & Benefits:
* Automatically maintains the fuel temperature at 40°F within an outdoor fuel storage tank, tote or drum. * Simple to install … spin it on, plug in the power and turn it on! * B100 Biofuel compatible … only steel, aluminum and Viton within the fluid path. * A single unit will protect up to 330 gallons of Biofuel or diesel fuel within an outdoor storage tank, tote or drum. * Eliminates the need for expensive, ineffective pour point additives. * Eliminate the need to cut with kerosene during the coldest months. * Eliminate those “no heat” service calls due to fuel gelling on the coldest nights.

The new Thermal Stability Systems Green Earth fuel protection system installs directly into your tank, tote or drum. After the unit is direct wired or plugged in, the unit is activated by a single lighted switch. Once the unit is activated, the unit begins to operate the pump to determine the temperature of the stored fuel with the use of the immersion fuel sensor. After the pump has operated for approximately one minute, the time/temperature controller will read the fuel temperature from the immersion fuel sensor. If the fuel temperature is below 40°F, the unit continues to operate the pump and silicone heater until the immersion fuel sensor determines that the fuel temperature has reached 40°F. If the time/temperature controller has determined that the fuel temperature is above 40°F, the unit shuts down for approximately one hour and then automatically begins to operate the pump unit for one minute to determine the fuel temperature. This cycle continues automatically to protect your stored fuel.
